Curso de Introdução ao Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga Beginners Course:
Learn step by step the Tristhana Method (breath, gaze and posture) the vinyasas (breathing and moviment techniques). The key components of Surya Namaskara A and B, standing positions, and the finishing sequence. Slowly during the course I will introduce the beginning of the Primary Series poses. We will also practice the traditional Chants in Sanskrit. If you feel a little lost learning the sequence, had a long break from Ashtanga or if you want to refine your skills and understanding of the asanas and vinyasas this class is for you.
Lot’s of individual attention will be provided.

Ashtanga is a set sequence of postures linked together with vinyasa, or flow of movement, in order to build heat in the body. The aim is for every breath taken to be a conscious one, creating a moving meditation. The set sequence is a consistent flow of dynamic movement designed to stretch and strengthen your body and to allow breath and energy to flow through your body easily.
There is no age limit on practicing Ashtanga, or any form of yoga for that matter. If you begin a regular practice you will see great progress and change in your body.

Curso de Iniciação ao Ashtanga Yoga:
Aprenda passo a passo o Método Tristhana ( respiração. ponto de focal e as posturas), as vinyasas (técnicas de respiração e movimento). Os principais componentes de Surya Namaskara A e B, posições em pé, e a sequência final. Devagar iremos começar a introduzir o inicio da Serie Primeira. Iremos também aprender os Chants tradicionais em Sanskrito. Se você se sente um pouco perdido aprendendo a sequência ou teve uma longa pausa na pratica de Ashtanga ou se quiser refinar suas habilidades e compreensão dos asanas e vinyasas, essa classe é para você.

Ashtanga é uma seqüência definida de posturas conectadas com vinyasa, ou fluxo de movimento, para construir o calor no corpo. O objetivo é que cada respiração seja consciente, criando uma meditação em movimento. A sequência definida é um fluxo consistente de movimento dinâmico projetado para alongar e fortalecer seu corpo e permitir que a respiração e a energia fluam facilmente através de seu corpo.
Não há limite de idade para praticar Ashtanga. Se você começar uma prática regular, verá um grande progresso e mudanças em seu corpo.
Não importa a idade ou o nível de condicionamento físico, você obterá maior controle sobre o corpo e a mente.

About Bianca:
Bianca expresses her love of life through arts, movement and dance. She studied dance in Brazil, jewelry design in Uruguay, and also received a bachelor’s degree in tourism. She took her first yoga class at age 18 and felt a deep connection within body and soul. In an opportunity to combine travels and dance, she worked as a dancer for Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey’s Circus, where she also had an introduction to aerial arts. She believes that the seed of yoga, which had been planted in her heart years before, started to grow in its own time. She decided to take her practice into a deeper level and completed the 200 hours teacher training at Neighborhood Yoga (a Yoga Alliance registered school) in Boone, NC . During this training the Ashtanga method was unveiled to her and became part of her being and daily practice. She practices Ashtanga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and who’s grandson Sharath Jois and his mother Saraswathi, from India, serves as Bianca’s primary teacher. In the west, she practices under the guidance of various certified Ashtanga teachers. Her teaching style is very creative, and is influenced by her background and personal practice. Believing she is an eternal student of yoga, her joy is to share all the benefits this practice can bring to people’s lives on and off the mat. Bianca gives classes and workshops all over the world.
